MAG Experiential Marketing Case Studies

We produced a pop-up blow dry bar with InStyle Magazine featuring Dyson’s new Supersonic Blow Dryer Styled by GlamSquad.

• Hosted the experience in a retro Airstream and offered free services courtesy of InStyle, Dyson and GlamSquad
• Invited guests to come on board the vehicle and get their hair washed and blow dried right on the spot
• Managed all logistics as they related to design and production of the vehicle, AV and technical requirements, onsite branding and staffing
• Provided popular bloggers, @blankitinerary (Paola Alberdi) and Gala Gonzalez, a free blow out at the event
• Distributed branded water bottles and discount codes to passersby throughout the day and even gave away GlamSquad gift certificates to 50 lucky attendees

We raised awareness for Union Square Partnership and helped drive traffic to the park with a 9-week community program, Summer in the Square.

• Handled all programming, partner outreach, and onsite logistics for over (100) initiatives each summer
• Provided entertainment for all ages including a children’s pavilion with story hour, character appearances, and interactive shows
• Engaged adults with daily fitness classes hosted by local gyms, local cover bands, dance companies and even a performance from Broadway’s Amazing Grace
• Produced the first-ever outdoor movie screening in Union Square in 2015 and continued the new tradition in 2016

We created an onsite gaming area at the Brooklyn Comedy Festival completely branded for IFC’s Comedy Road Tour and their sponsor, Hershey’s Ice Breakers.

• Designed and produced 3 custom branded games (Plinko, Jenga & Connect Four) to provide IFC’s client, Hershey, with added value at the Brooklyn Comedy Festival
• Invited guests to play and engage with the games at the Festival’s pre-show Happy Hour event along with a branded photo booth onsite
• Managed all logistics as they related to design and production of the games, AV during Happy Hour, catering, and staffing
• Distributed prizes and samples to guests throughout the evening and even held a raffle whereby guests won free tickets to another comedy show during the Festival

We assisted with planning and hosting one of Pivot’s 2016 Upfront initiatives.

• Produced 10 lunch and dinner events for the network’s top clients
• Secured partnerships with 2 top New York restaurants to host the events, handling all communications from start to finish
• Managed onsite technical logistics for each event’s custom presentation
• Designed and produced décor, florals, and custom printed menus and name cards
• Researched and sourced program premiums with a 1:1 ratio model that centered around a charitable component

We promoted North Shore-LIJ Health System’s name change (now Northwell Health) to internal employees.

• Produced the Brand Bus Road Show which consisted of 2 custom RVs retrofitted to create a wellness-inspired brand lounge and 1 Sprinter Van
• Engaged employees with a social-sharing photo op, onsite sweepstakes, interactive trivia station, and prize wheel
• Designed an app tutorial, driving hundreds of sign-ups to the system’s new digital platforms, myNorthwell and myWellness
• Partnered with KIND Snacks to distribute bars at activation stops throughout New York
• Traveled to 44 hospitals and practices over the course of 15 days, posting real-time blog posts along the way
